The Buckhead Bucks made it to the Cal Ripkin Beach Blast winners bracket (final 6 out of a 30 team pool) Jack Ballou and Alex Ozburn had some strong pitching performances. Tristan Otto, Jack Sard (who did an excelent job catching), Will Poplin and Jack Ballou led the team in batting, All of them hit over .400 for the Tournament. Overall the Bucks led by Chris Melhouse were over .500 for the month and were 4-3 in a competitive Cal Ripkin tournament. One item to note, Cal Ripkin made an appearance and spent time with the boys.
