7/4/2009 Braves Finish 2nd at Myrtle Beach The Braves completed the summer with a strong 2nd place finish at Myrtle Beach. Check out some pictures of the week here. 6/19/2009 Braves Compete in Tough USSSA State Tourney @ East Cobb The Braves went 0-4 this week in the USSSA state tournament in East Cobb against some of the toughest 11U teams in the state. The Braves will have a week of practice next week before heading off to Myrtle Beach for a week long tournament. 6/13/2009 Braves Finish 2-1 in Buckhead Classic. The Braves beat Druid Hills 14-3 and Oconee 7-3 before losing a close game against Murphy Candler 7-6. Unfortunately they lost the tiebreaker by a run to end their tournament before the semi-finals. 6/7/2009 Braves finish tied for 3rd The Braves beat the #2 seed East Cobb Titans 5-2 behind a great pitching performance by Alex Marshall and big hits from Bunting, Goodwin, and Feldman. In the semi-final game the Braves battled tough but dropped the game 6-2 to finish 3rd. 6/6/2009 Braves split Saturday games The Braves lost a close game 5-4 to the Georgia Roadrunners in the morning contest, but came back in the afternoon to beat a team from South Forsyth 11-7 in the first round of single elimination. The Braves brought out the big bats in the afternoon game led by homeruns from Huber, Bunting, and Wooley. 6/5/2009 Braves Take 2 At Georgia State Triple Crown TournamentThe Braves won the morning contest 15-4 and the late morning tilt 9-4. 6/3/2009 Braves Beat NYO In Bottom of 6th 6/2/2009 Braves Beat Buckhead 12 Year Old BucksThe Braves beat the 12 year old bucks 6-4 in a well pitched game. 5/31/2009 Braves go 1-3 in tough East Cobb Tournament
The Braves went 1-3 in East Cobb over the weekend. They lost two tough games 2-1 and 5-4, won 21-0 and lost 15-0. The pitching was led by Christian Bunting, Rankin Wooley, Luke Miltner, and Alex Marshall. At the plate they were led by Bunting and Harrison Barnes.
