Background Check for Team Managers and Assistant Coaches We are committed to providing the safest environment possible for children who participate in our baseball programs. As part of this effort, all team managers and assistant coaches are required to complete our online background check prior to being assigned to a team each year.
New rules covering the permissable bats for the Spring 2012 season, and beyond have been published by the United States Specialty Sports Association. Essentially, all bats must bear the BPF 1.15 mark, or they will be disallowed. Details are summarized below:
Six year-old players will now play in the Young Bucks League (formerly TB6). The name change is in response to survey input from parents and coaches that indicated many of these players have played t-ball at ages 4 and 5, so they are ready to graduate to the next level.
