CBG 2010 T-Ball Orientation

PREPARE You & Your Child for T-BALL
CBG hopes you and your child are excited about joining Buckhead Baseball’s T-Ball League for 2010. The first year of organized baseball for 4, 5 and 6 year olds always presents both parents and players with some fun, but unique challenges. There are numerous playing rules and procedures, not to mention the proper mechanics of fielding, throwing and hitting.
To help cope with these challenges CBG Select Baseball is offering a unique clinic for both parents and kids! That’s right…parents can learn the game right beside their child in the clinic. Parents will also learn the correct instruction methods they can use to teach baseball to their children once the clinic is complete. This is an opportunity to learn the game as your child does! We will teach the basics of the game in a fun and relaxed atmosphere with a few surprises added in.
A parent or guardian must accompany and or to participate with your child. One (1) adult per child please. Please choose between either of the following:
SESSION (A) 11:30a – 1:00 p
SESSION (B) 1:30p – 3:00p
Things you and your T-Baller will have the opportunity to learn are as follows:
- T-Ball field positions
- The correct way to run the bases
- How to hold the bat
- Correct fielding, throwing and hitting techniques, and
- The correct way to hit off the tee, proper glove and bat sizes plus many more aspects of the game…
