The 12U Bucks went undefeated in both pool and bracket play to claim the championship in the 2014 Southeastern All-Star Tournament.  The Bucks won with a combination of great pitching (particularly from Matthew Burdick, Jonathan Morgan and Luke Burns), tight defense (only 2 errors in 5 games), and timely hitting up and down the batting order (led by Charlie Wickliffe who went 7-9 with a HR and 7 RBIsWill Wagner who went 6-12 with 5 RBIs and 7 runs scoredand Carter McIntosh who went 5-10 with 2 doubles, a triple and 6 RBIs).

After going 3-0 in pool play to secure the #1 seed, the Bucks defeated a very good Druid Hills Vipers team in the semi-finals to set up an all-Buckhead final against our own Bombers, who were the #2 seed.  Kael Wornat threw very well for the Bombers, keeping the game close for the first few innings, but then the Bucks pulled away in the 3rd with big hits from Parker French, Austin Lauer, Charlie Wickliffe and Carter McIntosh to break it open.  The Bombers battled hard but the Bucks prevailed in the end, 7-3.
