The 9U Braves finished their summer series capturing the Dizzy Dean State Championship.  Our final season record was 24-2. 

The Braves went 5-0 in the tournament staying in the winners bracket the whole way.  We played Vila Rica, Sandy Plains Red, Buckhead Bucks, East Side Titans, and Whitfield Co. Legends along the way.  One of our toughest matchups came from our own Bucks team.  

We met Whitfield Co. in the finals.  Our bats were hot with 13 hits coming from 10 different Braves.  We jumped on them early and stretched our lead to 14-4 as we went to the bottom of the fourth.  Jack Landers hit the mound and struck out 3 to finish the game with a run limit.  

The Braves were successful in winning the 2015 Southeastern All-Star Championship, 2015 North Georgia State Grand Slam Champions, Dizzy Dean District and Dizzy Dean State.  With a mixed season of Dizzy Dean and Travel Ball tournaments, the Braves were successful in both types of play.
